BeNanna Bakery is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Seasonal Weekend Cleaner to help keep our bakery clean and organized throughout the busy holiday season!

This temporary position is primarily focused on deep cleaning our bakery following weekend production, particularly during our busy oliebollen season.

One of the biggest perks of this position is the flexible schedule! Cleaning can be completed anytime between Saturday at 5:30 PM and Monday at 9:00 AM, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to earn extra income during the holidays.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and is comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities

- Thoroughly clean and sanitize bakery production areas, including floors, work surfaces, equipment, and fixtures.
- Perform detailed cleanup following oliebollen production, including cleaning deep fryers and related equipment.
- Clean and maintain the retail store, staff room, washroom, and common areas.
- Deep clean floors, shelving, windows, and other surfaces as needed.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and production equipment as required.
- Complete assigned cleaning tasks according to established checklists and sanitation standards.
- Maintain an organized cleaning supply area.
- Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Report any maintenance concerns or safety hazards to management.

Qualifications





- Previous commercial cleaning experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Physically capable of standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive cleaning tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to complete assigned cleaning duties each weekend.
- Ability to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures.
- Willingness to learn proper cleaning and sanitation practices for a food production environment.

Location: Benanna Bakery – Chilliwack, BC

Schedule: Flexible weekend hours

Cleaning Window: Saturday after 5:30 PM through Monday before 9:00 AM

Duration: Holiday season (temporary position)

Experience: Not required; training provided.
