Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastries, cakes and maybe macaron experience, with a keen eye for detail and presentation. This role involves creating exquisite pastries, desserts, and baked goods that delight our customers.

The Pastry Chef will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all products meet high standards of quality and food safety. A background in the food industry, restaurant experience, and excellent customer service skills are highly valued for this position.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and macarons according to established recipes and standards
- Decorate cakes and pastries
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain hygiene standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks related to the bakery section, including measuring ingredients and mixing batters
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and work surfaces




- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and delivery of products
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock is low

Experience

- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role within a bakery or restaurant setting
- Skilled in cake techniques and food presentation
- Strong knowledge of baking principles, food safety regulations, and kitchen operations
- Experience with food handling, packaging, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Familiarity with the food industry environment and customer service expectations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Prior experience in restaurant or bakery settings is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates willing to learn

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
