Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teacher to foster a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing engaging educational activities, supporting children's developmental needs, and collaborating with families and staff to promote a positive learning experience. Duties

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Facilitate engaging activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Monitor and assess individual child's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom workplace conducive to learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements and classroom management strategies
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support children's needs
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing necessary accommodations
- Document daily observations and maintain accurate records of children's development milestones




- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Skills

- Proficiency in English; bilingual skills in French or other languages are a plus
- Proficiency in Punjab, or Tagalong, is a benefit, as well
- Strong childcare experience with a focus on early childhood education
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to operate educational technology and computer applications relevant to classroom management
- Classroom experience demonstrating effective behavior management and instructional techniques
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Time management skills to ensure timely lesson delivery and documentation
- Leadership qualities that foster a positive classroom atmosphere and team collaboration
- Writing skills for preparing reports, progress notes, and communication with families

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 25.0 per week
