About Shine City

Shine City Pressure Washing is a growing, top-rated exterior cleaning company based in Langley, BC. We clean houses, roofs, gutters, windows and driveways across Langley, Surrey and the Fraser Valley, and we put up Christmas lights in the winter. We run the business on our own software, so less time goes to paperwork and more goes to doing great work.

The Role

This is an Operations Manager in Training job. You will work directly under our Operations Manager and learn to run the day-to-day side of the business. It is a mixed, hands‑on role, and no two days are the same:

- Lead crews on jobs: be on site with the crew, run the job, make sure it is done right and on time, and jump in where you are needed.
- Train people: show new and current crew members how we do the work, and how we take the photos and videos each job needs.
- In-person quotes: visit homes, walk the property with the customer, answer their questions and give them a price.
- Work with our sales team: coordinate with our sales manager on quotes, scheduling and customer questions.
- Use our software: keep schedules, job notes, photos and crew updates running in our own app.
- Solve problems on the day: when something goes wrong, you find the fix instead of waiting to be told.

Most of your time is spent on jobs and at customers' homes, and about a third in the office.

Who We Are Looking For





- You are smart and reliable. You show up on time, every time.
- You think for yourself and make good decisions when things change.
- You are good with people, both crew members and customers, and you can explain things clearly.
- You are comfortable on a phone and a computer, and you learn current software quickly.
- You want to grow. This role is built for someone who wants to become an Operations Manager.

Nice to Have

- Speaking Punjabi, since many of our crew members and customers speak it
- Experience leading a crew, a shift or a team, in a trade, landscaping, construction, moving or home services
- Quoting, sales or customer service experience
- Pressure washing or Christmas light experience

Must Have

- A valid BC driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle (you will drive between jobs and to customers' homes)
- Clear, confident spoken and written English
- Able to work outdoors, stay on your feet and climb a ladder
- Live within about 30 minutes of Langley

Pay and Schedule

- $25 to $32 an hour. Most people start at $25, and your rate goes up as you take on more of the operations work
- Full-time, mostly Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays in our busy season (spring and summer)
- A clear path to Operations Manager, with pay that grows as you take on more
