Lead accounting operations at Annapolis Home Hardware Building Centre using Sage and Excel in a full time Annapolis Royal position. Strengthen reporting, controls, and financial decisions.

The Accounting Finance Lead manages daily accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. This hands-on role supports accurate records, process improvements, and data-based decisions. You will work with management and external accountants on complex accounting matters, tax issues, and year-end statements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain Sage records, journal entries, and general ledger accounts
- Process payables, receivables, payroll, remittances, and collections
- Lead monthly close and prepare financial statements
- Track budgets, cash flow, variances,



and payment requirements
- Improve workflows, reconciliations, controls, and reporting processes

Requirements:

- Five-plus years of progressive bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Accredited Sage certification and hands-on software experience
- Strong Excel skills with formulas and pivot tables
- Experience with payroll, remittances, reconciliations, and audits
- Attention to detail, communication, judgement, and deadline management
