Under the General Manager, this Server Assistant supports Drift’s service team at Muir, a Luxury Collection Hotel. The position includes answering food, beverage, and wine questions, coordinating with servers and hosts, and following food safety standards. Previous similar restaurant experience is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer questions about food, beverages, wine, and services
- Run food using table and seat numbers accurately
- Monitor section cleanliness and remove clutter
- Communicate guest comments to servers promptly
- Dispose of garbage, linen bags, and recycling
Requirements:
- Valid Serve Right Certification
- Previous similar restaurant experience considered an asset
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Organizational and prioritization skills
- Solid oral communication and product knowledge
