Become a Program Navigator with Phoenix Society, supporting residents in their recovery and independence. This part-time role focuses on advocacy, community engagement, and client support.
The Program Navigator serves the Phoenix Intensive Residential Treatment Program (IRT) through direct client advocacy and discharge planning. You will assist residents with housing searches, personal documentation, and developing life skills. This role requires effective communication and strong interpersonal skills to build cooperative relationships within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for residents in the IRT program
• Assist clients during discharge planning
• Support housing searches and resource referrals
• Develop psycho-educational and support groups
• Maintain accurate client files and statistics
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in community social services
• One year experience with marginalized populations
• First aid certification with CPR
• Valid class 5 driver’s license
• Ability to administer Narcan during emergencies
