Elevate youth volleyball at the Maverick Volleyball Club as a part-time Tournament Convenor. Coordinate successful tournaments while enhancing organizational and communication skills in a hybrid role.
As the Tournament Convenor, you will report directly to the Program Manager and manage all resources for Mavs-run tournaments. Your role includes planning, executing, and overseeing both RTC and other events throughout the year, with responsibilities that ensure a seamless experience for participants and volunteers alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute Maverick organized tournaments
• Book officials and recruit volunteers as necessary
• Provide on-site support during tournament days
• Communicate tournament details with teams and squads
• Prepare an Emergency Action Plan for injuries
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• Experience in problem solving and conflict resolution
• Solid communication skills for multi-stakeholder coordination
• Technology proficiency for tournament management
• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
