JOB DUTIES

- Preparing dough, reviewing Bakery’s orders, ordering supplies, daily checking that ovens, baking and packaging equipment are in working order, deliveries
- Test ingredients and finished baked goods to ensure that each item meets quality standards
- Maintain stock to ensure a ready supply for experimental recipes
- Responsible for hiring, training, scheduling and guiding the bakery’s personnel




- Ensure the workplace is always maintained clean and organized and work is performed in a safe manner

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 months of related experience
- Strong time and resource management, and planning skills
- Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Ability to work in a hot, hectic workplace, stand, walk, bend, use hands and appliances, and lift heavy items for extended periods

BENEFITS AND SALARY

- Permanent, Full-time position
- $25.00 per hour for a minimum 30-hour workweek
- Overtime may be required and will be paid at 1.5 of your regular hourly rate after 44 hours per week
