MPN Electrical is hiring Journeyman Electricians with multi-family residential and/or commercial construction experience to join our Calgary team.

We specialize in new multi-family residential and mixed‑use construction , with a strong focus on wood‑frame developments.

We are specifically looking for electricians with residential multi-family and/or commercial construction experience.
This is not an industrial, solar or high‑voltage position.

The Experience We're Looking For

Our ideal Journeyman has hands‑on experience with new multi-family residential, wood‑frame and/or commercial construction , including:

- Multi‑family residential electrical construction
- Wood‑frame construction




- Commercial and mixed‑use construction
- Suite rough‑in and finishing
- Common areas and parkades
- Distribution and branch wiring
- Lighting and electrical equipment installation
- Reading and working from electrical and architectural drawings
- Layout and installation from drawings
- Working effectively with apprentices, Foremen and other trades
- Maintaining safe, productive and high‑quality work

Requirements

- Certified Journeyman Electrician and/or recognized Red Seal
- Experience in multi‑family residential and/or commercial current construction
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods and applicable codes
- Able to read and interpret electrical and architectural drawings
- Safety conscious and committed to quality workmanship
- Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a construction crew
- Must currently live in Calgary or the surrounding area
- Reliable transportation to Calgary‑area job sites

We want experienced electricians who can work independently, solve problems, support apprentices, maintain quality and help keep the project moving forward.
