The Ottawa Catholic School Board seeks an Educational Assistant for its M.F. McHugh program. You will support students with intellectual, physical, medical, sensory, self-regulation, and other special education needs. The assignment runs from October 28, 2026, to June 24, 2027, with responsibilities shaped by individual student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support students with specific classroom needs
- Assist students’ academic development
- Respond to physical, emotional, and hygienic needs
- Contribute as a school team member
- Perform other assigned duties

Requirements:

- Secondary school diploma
- Two-year related community college diploma or child-related university degree
- Two years of related experience
- Knowledge of PICS, PECS, ABA, signing, or Braille considered an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills considered an asset
