Design automated manufacturing cells in Concord using SolidWorks and mechanical automation expertise. This fully in office role follows an 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM schedule.

As a Mechanical Automation Designer with ALTEN CANADA, you will design sub-systems for automatic machines, robotic cells, and material handling systems. You will create 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation from customer specifications. The work includes FEA, engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design sub-systems for automatic machines and robotic cells
- Generate SolidWorks models, drawings, assemblies, and BOMs
- Perform preliminary stress calculations and FEA
- Conduct motor, robot,



and chain force calculations
- Support manufacturing, assembly, debugging, and integration

Requirements:

- Automation experience with conveyors or pick-and-place systems
- Machinery design experience involving at least two systems
- SolidWorks proficiency for 3D CAD modeling and drafting
- Experience with FEA analysis principles
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technologist education
