AutoCAD electrical design anchors this Junior Electrical Designer position at Introba, developing lighting, low voltage, life safety, and control systems.
Working collaboratively, the Junior Electrical Designer supports detailed building systems design and production across various building types. The work includes 2D drawings, 3D building models, electrical layouts, basic calculations, and design coordination. Tasks are completed under Intermediate and Senior Design Staff direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and clean AutoCAD drawing files
- Draft low voltage, life safety, control, and lighting layouts
- Maintain AutoCAD files and follow company standards
- Apply Introba design checklist drawing standards
- Check completed work before returning it to Designers
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of AutoCAD and design experience
- Experience with low voltage, high voltage, life safety, control, and lighting systems
- Electrical Engineering degree or technology diploma
- Ability to read building drawings with supervision
- Robust written, verbal, organizational, and teamwork skills
