Engage with a multidisciplinary team to enhance workplace safety measures. In this managerial role, you will report to the Director of People Development & Wellbeing. You'll oversee critical programs that promote workplace safety and compliance. A strong background in health and safety, coupled with exemplary leadership skills, is essential for effectively advocating for employee health and returning them safely to work.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support the Occupational Health and Safety team
• Oversee employee health services and immunization programs




• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
• Manage WSIB claims, attendance, and return-to-work plans
• Collaborate with various teams and committees to mitigate risks

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety
• Over 5 years of experience in health and safety
• Expertise in WSIB management and appeals
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation
