Become a Senior Assistant Mill Manager in Edmundston and Madawaska, New Brunswick. Lead environmental compliance efforts and sustainability initiatives within our manufacturing mills. We are seeking a Senior Assistant Mill Manager responsible for ensuring environmental regulation compliance across our Edmundston and Madawaska mills. The role includes developing policies, overseeing the ISO Management System, and managing relationships with environmental authorities. Your expertise will drive product stewardship and promote sustainable practices within our operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure environmental compliance and identify improvement areas
• Develop and monitor sustainability programs and strategies
• Maintain and update the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) system
• Oversee internal audits and corrective actions for the ISO system
• Communicate team objectives and management philosophy effectively
Requirements:
• Solid knowledge of environmental regulations (Canada, U.
S., EU)
• Experience in sustainability program development
• Familiarity with MSDS systems and chemical screening
• Demonstrated leadership in unionized environments
