Job Title: Material Handling Operator
Job Description
As a Material Handling Operator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our compounders by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of raw materials. Your responsibilities will include checking route sheets for special instructions, servicing the floor with raw materials, and communicating with warehouse staff. You will also be responsible for cleaning and removing totes to and from the washout area as specified.
Responsibilities
Support compounders through timely, accurate delivery of raw materials.
Check the route sheet for special instructions and documentation.
Service the floor with raw materials for batching.
Communicate with warehouse staff to coordinate raw material needs.
Clean and remove totes to and from the washout area as specified.
Essential Skills
1+ years of experience in material handling, preferably in a GMP environment.
1+ years of inventory control experience.
Reach lift certification.
Familiarity with CGMP, pharma, pharmaceutical industry, and chemical manufacturing.
Experience in visual inspection, compound management, picking, loading, and general labor.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to multi-task.
Robust problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills with co-workers.

Work Environment
You will work in a temperature-controlled, clean, and organized environment with a fragrant smell from the chemicals. There are straight shifts available with training provided on your designated shift. Lab coats and long pants are required, and steel-toed shoes are mandatory. The work environment includes occasional wet conditions when washing totes. We have openings for day, afternoon, and night shifts with premium pay for afternoon and night shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, ON.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $25.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
