East Coast Mining Ltd. seeks a dependable Maintenance Labourer for its hard-rock open-pit mining project. You will support Heavy Duty Mechanics through routine maintenance, equipment servicing, lubrication, fluid checks, and general labour. Mechanical aptitude and heavy equipment familiarity are valuable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Heavy Duty Mechanics with routine equipment maintenance
- Assist with fuelling, lubrication, and fluid level checks
- Identify basic equipment components, parts, and maintenance requirements
- Organise tools, parts, and maintenance materials
- Follow safety procedures around mobile and heavy equipment
Requirements:
- Maintenance, mechanical, industrial, or heavy equipment experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and basic component familiarity considered assets
- Comfort working around large mobile mining equipment
- Physical ability for hands-on labour and uneven terrain
- Valid driver's licence and acceptable driver's abstract
