Operate forklifts and manage material movement for Silent-Aire, a Johnson Controls division supporting custom data center equipment manufacturing. Work across storage yards and factory environments.
This Forklift Operator position handles shipping, receiving, storage, and inventory support. You will operate lifting devices, move materials, maintain documentation, and support safety compliance. The work includes truck loading, unloading, material weighing, and routine equipment maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, hoists, platforms, beams, and swivel hooks
- Load and unload materials from trucks and lifting devices
- Put received materials into proper storage locations
- Complete inventory transactions and supporting documentation accurately
- Perform routine vehicle and equipment maintenance
Requirements:
- Minimum two years forklift operating experience in warehouse shipping
- Valid forklift operator license
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting procedures
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Ability to move equipment or supplies exceeding 40 pounds
