Inventory Associate

Job Description:
We are currently seeking an
Inventory Associate
to support inventory control, warehouse operations, and shipping/receiving activities within a fast-paced distribution and manufacturing workplace. This role combines hands-on warehouse responsibilities with inventory management and data entry, requiring a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Verify inventory by confirming part numbers, descriptions, and quantities against inventory records.
Accurately document inventory transactions using warehouse management systems (WMS), spreadsheets, and internal software.
Organize inventory and materials within warehouse storage locations according to established procedures.
Operate material handling equipment, including sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers (training provided as required).
Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
Use RF scanners and order-picking tools to locate, pick, and stage materials.
Support shipping and receiving operations, including loading, unloading, and shipment verification.
Pack, label, and prepare products for outbound shipments.
Enter inventory and transaction data into Microsoft Excel and other systems with a high degree of accuracy.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of inventory control experience.
Minimum 1 year of experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Experience operating forklifts or willingness to be trained on sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel.




Strong data entry skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience performing cycle counts and inventory reconciliation activities.
Experience using RF scanners for inventory tracking and order picking.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday.
Work Environment
Warehouse and distribution environment supporting manufacturing and inventory operations.
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday .

This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, AB.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
