Food Manufacturing Worker
We are currently hiring for multiple positions within a food manufacturing facility in Richmond. These are entry-level opportunities and all training is provided.
Requirements for All Positions
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Comfortable working with food products including pork, chicken, eggs, flour, and other ingredients
Able to work overtime on Saturdays as required
Comfortable working in an workplace maintained between 810°C with robust food-related scents
Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
Reliable transportation is strongly preferred, as public transit options are limited and the nearest transit stop is a significant walking distance from the facility
Packager
Shift Options (Monday-Friday)
Day Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Afternoon Shift: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM
Position Overview
This role focuses on packaging food products on a fast-paced production line in a refrigerated manufacturing workplace. Employees work with conveyor-based machinery to package, sort, box, label, and palletize products while maintaining quality standards.
Machine Operator
Shift Options (Monday-Friday)
Day Shift: 5:45 AM - 2:30 PM
Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Morning shift employees may be required to start as early as 4:30 AM
Position Overview
This role involves operating production machinery in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include machine setup, operation, monitoring production processes, maintaining quality standards, and completing required production documentation.
Sanitation Associate
Shift Options (Monday-Friday)
Day Shift: 5:30 AM - 2:15 PM
Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Position Overview
The Sanitation Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe,



and organized production environment. This position focuses on cleaning and sanitizing equipment, work areas, floors, and production-related tools while adhering to food safety standards.

Work Environment
The facility is a high-volume food manufacturing environment with conveyors and machinery operating continuously. Employees work in refrigerated production areas maintained between 410°C and may occasionally enter cooler or freezer environments. The facility follows strict food safety standards.
Employees are required to wear steel-toe boots and comply with all food safety and personal protective equipment requirements, including hair nets, gloves, and company-issued protective clothing.
The setting is fast-paced, physically demanding, and team-oriented.



Employees should be comfortable standing for most of their shift, performing repetitive tasks, and working around continuously operating machinery.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, BC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.40 - $19.90/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
