Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Quality Management Systems Officer / Health and Safety Office to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting a secure and healthy work environment by implementing safety policies, conducting training sessions, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in training of Q.
C and safety
- Perform site/office inspections, investigate accident/incident reports
- Complete daily shop walk-around for quality control procedures
- Prepare reports
- Report and track all non-conformance issues
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet QC
- Enforce company policies and procedures and Health and Safety regulations
- Chair Joint Workplace Health and Safety Committee
- Assist with developing policies and plans to reduce employee risk
- Evaluate risks and hazards and suggest corrective actions
- Ensure safety training is completed and up to date
- Provide day-to-day assistance to the operations team
- Maintain confidential safety records and files




- Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes related to workplace safety
- Review work orders to verify customer specifications
- Other administrative duties as assigned

Education:
- Training in ISO 9001
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline (administration, health, and safety, quality control: background in the related industry an asset) Professional/Technical certification:
- Class 5 driver's license
- First aid
- Health and Safety designation would be an asset Job Knowledge or Work

Experience:
- 1+ years in ISO 9001
- 1+ Years in Health and Safety or risk mitigation
- Health and Safety Auditor would be an asset Competencies:
- Complete discretion and comfortable handling sensitive information
- Excellent written, oral and presentation
