The role:
• Own SAP FI/CO configuration: GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, intercompany, and banking
• Lead chart of accounts design through to business sign-off
• Design and prove entity consolidation and group reporting
• Design the period close and rehearse it before go-live
• Own finance reconciliation across mock data loads and cutover
• Build the finance reports and dashboards the business uses to make decisions
• Train finance users, write user guides and documentation, and support finance in SAP after go-live
• Act as the finance subject matter expert for SAP, working closely with the Finance business process owner Must haves:
• 5+ years in an SAP finance functional or business analyst role
• S/4HANA finance configuration on at least two full lifecycles, at least one as the analyst




• Robust GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, intercompany, and period close experience
• Multi-entity consolidation and chart of accounts design or redesign
• Cutover balance validation alongside a controller
• Data extraction, mapping, conversion, and validation at volume
• Ability to turn business requirements into buildable specifications, and to explain them in plain language
• Degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business, or IT. Nice to have:
• Product costing / material ledger, SAP Group Reporting or Central Finance, Canadian and US tax, FP&A;
• CPA
