The company values practical problem-solving, quality workmanship, and responsive customer care. Role Description The Heavy Equipment Mechanic is a full-time, in office role based in Abbotsford, BC. The mechanic will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on farm and heavy equipment, including tractors and related agricultural machinery. Daily tasks include inspecting equipment for wear or damage, troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic issues, completing scheduled service, and performing component replacements and adjustments. The role involves using diagnostic tools, reading technical manuals,



maintaining accurate service records, and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. The mechanic will interact with customers and the service team to clarify concerns, explain findings, and help prioritize repairs to minimize equipment downtime. Qualifications
• Strong skills in equipment maintenance, routine inspections and servicing.
• Hands-on experience with equipment repair and heavy equipment, particularly agricultural machinery such as tractors and implements.
• Proficient troubleshooting abilities for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Relevant technical training or certification in heavy-duty mechanics, agricultural equipment technology, or a closely related field.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and parts diagrams.
• Commitment to safe work practices and familiarity with applicable safety standards.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a service team.
• Previous experience doing mobile repairs and servicing would be beneficial.
