• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills; experience with reporting or BI tools is an asset
• Excellent attention to detail, sound judgment and high integrity in handling confidential information
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders
• Self-directed and comfortable working in a fully remote, fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities
• Lead, supervise and develop a small accounting team, setting priorities, reviewing work and fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement
• Own the monthly, quarterly and annual close process for all entities, including account reconciliations, accruals, intercompany transactions and consolidation
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and management reports,

with variance analysis and commentary for the CFO and leadership team
• Design, document and maintain internal controls, accounting policies and procedures, including segregation of duties and approval workflows
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue reconciliation with payment processors, and treasury operations, including cash management and multi-currency payments
• Supervise payroll accounting and ensure accurate integration between payroll and the general ledgers
• Manage sales tax compliance across jurisdictions and coordinate sales tax filings with external advisors
• Act as the main point of contact for external advisors and accountants, and lead the year-end review process and corporate tax filings
• Support the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning and ad hoc financial analysis
• Drive improvements to finance systems and automation to scale processes as the company grows
