Planning technician Our company, specializing in structural steel fabrication, is seeking a graduate in Industrial Engineering Technology to contribute to the planning, scheduling, and optimization of operations at our manufacturing facility. Your Role
• Working closely with our production, engineering, purchasing, and project management teams, you will contribute to the following activities:
• Plan and coordinate fabrication activities within the facility;
• Develop and maintain production schedules;
• Prioritize and schedule fabrication activities based on plant capacity;
• Monitor project progress on the shop floor;
• Participate in resolving operational and production issues;
• Identify production bottlenecks and recommend improvements;
• Contribute to improving work methods, workflows, and processes;
• Participate in initiatives aimed at reducing costs and increasing productivity;
• Collaborate in organizing material flow, handling, and storage within the facility;
• Assist in monitoring quality standards and key performance indicators (KPIs);
• Support the implementation of new tools, processes, and manufacturing technologies;
