Support governance, controls testing, and deficiency management as a CIBC Analyst Co-op in a hybrid work arrangement. Work onsite one to three days weekly.
As an Analyst, you will support CIBC Finance Shared Services through controls development, risk assessments, records management, and deficiency mitigation. You will collaborate with business partners across Finance while building practical experience in operational governance and controls. The Winter 2027 term runs from January through April.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support controls testing across Finance Shared Services
- Help develop controls and assess associated risks
- Manage records and support deficiency mitigation
- Collaborate with Finance business partners and teams
- Suggest improvements to existing processes
Requirements:
- Current university enrollment in a Bachelor's degree
- Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics major
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Robust written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proactive approach with keen attention to detail
