Ledcor Highways Ltd. is seeking winter seasonal operators from October 1st to April 30th, with potential for year round employment. You will maintain Alberta Provincial Highways using snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment. The work includes assisting with labourer duties and responding to changing weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and heavy equipment
- Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways during winter conditions
- Assist with crack sealing and pothole repair
- Clean bridges and highway signage
- Remediate hazards and work outdoors in all weather
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1, 2, or 3 driver's license with air endorsement
- Clear three-year driver's abstract
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Snowplow or wheel loader experience is an asset
