Operate heavy dump trucks for Max Load Trucking Ltd. across Nova Scotia, using route planning and safety inspection skills. This full time position is permanent.

The Dump Truck Driver transports bulk materials between construction and excavation sites. Duties include operating trucks over 4,500 kilograms, managing hydraulic loading, and following delivery schedules. The work requires documentation, radio communication, regulatory compliance, and roadside repairs when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

- Transport gravel, sand, soil, and construction debris
- Load and unload materials using hydraulic systems
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Inspect tires, lights, brakes, and fluid levels
- Complete logbooks, trip records, and required documentation

Requirements:

- One to two years operating dump or heavy transport trucks
- Completed secondary high school education
- Valid Class 3 or Class 1 licence
- Air brake endorsement or equivalent
- English language proficiency and physical ability
