Job Title: Accounts Payable Lease Administrator

Our client in Toronto, ON is actively looking for an Accounts Payable Lease Administrator to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and reconcile the monthly rent roll to ensure completeness and accuracy of General Ledger postings and lease-related expenses
- Review landlord and utility invoices against lease agreements, prior-year records, and approved rent schedules to ensure accurate accounting treatment
- Code, review, and post invoices to the appropriate General Ledger accounts, cost centres, projects, and departments in accordance with accounting policies
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between invoices,



rent schedules, and the General Ledger, including miscoding’s, timing differences, and billing variances
- Prepare and support monthly accruals, prepaid expense entries, and reclassifications related to rent and utilities
- Reconcile AP sub-ledger balances to the General Ledger and assist with variance analysis during month-end and year-end close
- Maintain detailed and organized digital documentation of invoices, approvals, lease agreements, journal entries, and supporting schedules for audit and internal review purposes
- Respond to landlord and internal stakeholder inquiries related to invoice status,
