As Transmission Line Lead, you will guide Canadian and U.S. projects while mentoring engineers and designers. Your work spans route selection, conceptual and detailed design, construction support, quality reviews, proposals, client relationships, and prospect development. This position supports Hatch’s Power practice and upcoming growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead transmission line engineers and designers across Canadian and U.S. jurisdictions
- Oversee route selection, design, reviews, and construction support
- Apply IEEE, ASCE, CSA, and NESC standards appropriately
- Develop proposals, scopes, pricing, and new project opportunities




- Coordinate teams, priorities, clients, and project delivery

Requirements:

- Minimum 10 years of overhead transmission line engineering experience
- Engineering degree from a recognized university
- Professional Engineering registration, with reciprocal licensure ability advantageous
- Proficiency with PLS-CADD or equivalent transmission line software
- Client-facing leadership and business development experience preferred
