Registered Nurse with long-term care expertise wanted at AgeCare Shawnee in Calgary, supporting protected resident care and coordinated nursing services.

This temporary, 0.40 FTE position reports to the Director of Care. The RN applies nursing judgment, interpersonal skills, and professional standards while coordinating resident services, leading shift reports, and supporting a culture of safety, respect, teamwork, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate nursing and other resident services within the neighbourhood
- Lead shift reports with health care team members
- Communicate changes in residents’ status to team members
- Record significant resident condition changes accurately
- Review and process physician orders according to procedure

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing background
- Knowledge of activation, nursing, and personnel administration
- Registration and good standing with the provincial registry
- Knowledge of applicable nursing home legislation and standards
