Lead municipal water operations in Vaughan using CMMS coordination, technical direction, and knowledge of distribution systems. This is a full time unionized position.

As Team Lead, Water Services, you will oversee operator activities within the City of Vaughan’s Environmental Services Department. The work includes assigning water operations, training staff, and coordinating maintenance and inspection activities. You will help ensure daily operations meet provincial regulations and City standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out all aspects of water operator activities
- Assign work for water operations staff
- Provide leadership, training, and technical direction
- Coordinate CMMS requests, work orders, and maintenance backlogs




- Audit daily operations for regulatory and City compliance

Requirements:

- Three year diploma in Civil or Environmental Technology
- Five years maintaining municipal water distribution systems
- One year coordinating work within a unionized municipal setting
- Valid Ontario Water Distribution Level 2 Operator License
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
