The Specialist, Inventory will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and optimizing inventory management processes to support construction, development, and operational activities at the Outstanding Bear Project. This role ensures accurate inventory records, material availability, and effective stock control practices while supporting procurement, warehouse, maintenance, and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

- Maintain accurate inventory records and material master data within inventory management systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to collect, validate, establish, and maintain accurate material master data.
- Monitor inventory levels and material consumption to ensure critical supplies and spare parts are available to support operations.
- Support the implementation, testing, enhancement, and ongoing use of the JD Edwards inventory and materials management system.




- Establish and maintain minimum and maximum inventory levels, reorder points, and stock management strategies based on operational requirements and lead times.
- Coordinate cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits, ensuring timely reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve inventory accuracy.
- Analyze inventory trends, usage patterns, and stock movements to identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Operations teams to forecast inventory requirements and support planning activities.
