Social Media Community, Growth & Performance Manager

Location

Fully remote. Open to Canadian residents.

Position Type

Full-time. This role includes supporting coordinated team coverage across 8AM–8PM Eastern, 7 days a week, including statutory holidays, with stat holiday pay provided in accordance with applicable regulations.

Do not apply if you’re not prepared to work some statutory holidays.

This is a performance-driven role for someone who treats social media as a revenue channel, not a content calendar.

At Acclivity, B2B social programs are built to generate leads, start conversations, and drive pipeline for technical and industrial companies. The company works with forward-thinking, tech-savvy clients in industries such as engineering, manufacturing, and technology, and operates as a fully remote-first organization focused on flexibility and work-life integration.

You will be responsible for executing and optimizing social media activity across multiple client accounts, with a clear mandate: grow relevant audiences, generate leads, and convert attention into real business conversations.

What You’ll Own

- Grow relevant, high-quality audiences across client social channels.
- Generate inbound leads and initiate outbound conversations with target accounts.
- Book or influence qualified meetings through social engagement and outreach.
- Maintain rapid, high-quality response times across comments, messages, and mentions, with client-dependent SLAs ranging from approximately 5 minutes to same day.
- Execute high-volume, high-quality daily engagement aligned with each client’s brand voice.
- Create and publish content that drives engagement,

conversations, and conversions rather than vanity metrics.
- Identify trends early, understand why they are gaining traction, and apply relevant elements effectively across client brands.
- Leverage AI and automation tools to increase output, speed, experimentation, variability, and scale while maintaining high standards for accuracy, brand voice, and quality.
- Identify opportunities to increase reach, visibility, and conversion through experimentation and iteration.
- Support ABM efforts through research, targeting, outreach, and tracking.
- Build and engage relationships with industry media, influencers, and partners, including podcasters, publications, associations, and event organizers.
- Maintain accurate CRM updates and activity tracking across client systems.
- Monitor competitors, trends, and platform changes to identify opportunities.
- Deliver clear monthly reporting tied to performance metrics.

How You’ll Be Measured

Success in this role is tied directly to performance. Key metrics include:

- Growth of relevant, target audience, not vanity followers.
- Leads generated through social channels.
- Meetings booked or pipeline influenced.
- Response time and SLA adherence.
- Volume and quality of meaningful conversations initiated.

Who You Are

- Fast, proactive, and outcome-oriented.
- Motivated by ownership and accountability.
- Comfortable operating at high volume without sacrificing quality.
- Curious and able to quickly understand technical industries and topics.
- Focused on results, not just tasks.
- Excited to use AI to improve speed, scale, variability, and output, but disciplined enough to protect quality, accuracy, and brand standards.
- Able to identify trends, understand why they work, and match the right elements to the right clients.
- Energetic, urgent, self-motivated, experimental, and held to high standards.

Requirements

- Experience in B2B social media, community management, or a similar role.
- Experience generating leads or supporting pipeline through social media.
- Experience in sales, customer service, or other client-facing roles is a strong asset.
- Strong written communication and conversational skills.
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and engage in informed discussions.
- Strong time management and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to connect activity to outcomes.

Nice to Have

- Experience in technical, industrial, or engineering-related industries.
- Experience with best practices in social media, specifically LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Experience with Reddit, X, YouTube, and Facebook is also valuable.

Tools
