Commercial Lines Underwriter Level I with risk assessment and Facility Association expertise, supporting brokers through a hybrid role based in Dartmouth. At Intact’s Nordic subsidiary, you will underwrite risks outside the voluntary auto insurance market. Apply commercial lines underwriting, rating, communication, and analytical skills to support Facility Association outcomes. This permanent position requires at least two days weekly in the Dartmouth office.

Key Responsibilities
- Guide brokers quoting and binding risks unavailable in voluntary markets
- Underwrite and rate recent business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
- Collaborate with claims partners on after-loss underwriting




- Manage competing priorities while delivering consistent productivity
- Recommend process improvements and analyze trends

Requirements:
- Experience with IRCA and/or public vehicles insurance
- Ability to analyze and assess complex risks
- Strong communication skills adaptable to different audiences
- Facility Association knowledge or exposure is an asset
- Eligibility to work in Canada without sponsorship Support Nordic’s technical underwriting work with risk analysis, broker guidance, Facility Association knowledge, and clear communication.
