Master VMware virtualization and storage engineering in a hybrid Tier 3 role, with two onsite days near Halifax shopping centre on Bayers Road. This Senior Virtualization and Storage Engineer supports a business-critical environment. You will manage VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter while troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues. The role also covers NetApp, Pure Storage, SAN/NAS, datastores, and Veeam.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage enterprise VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter platforms
- Resolve complex server, virtualization, and storage issues
- Support NetApp, Pure Storage, SAN/NAS, and datastores
- Improve infrastructure performance, availability, resilience, and capacity
- Drive technical problems through root cause analysis
Requirements:
- Robust hands-on enterprise virtualization experience
- Solid VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter knowledge
- Experience with NetApp, Pure Storage, or equivalent platforms
- Proven Tier 3 troubleshooting and root cause experience
- Backup and recovery experience, ideally with Veeam Apply your VMware, storage, and Tier 3 troubleshooting expertise to strengthen a critical hybrid infrastructure environment near Halifax.
