Administer municipal networks and cybersecurity for the City of Owen Sound in a 12-month contract based in Owen Sound, Ontario. Apply Microsoft infrastructure expertise while supporting reliable services. Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, this Network Administrator supports voice and data networks, servers, and technology infrastructure. The position combines network operations, Microsoft 365 administration, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and technical support. It also contributes to infrastructure projects and technology planning.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, and VoIP systems
- Support Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Administer Microsoft 365 and associated applications




- Implement security controls and disaster recovery strategies
- Provide second-level technical support to internal users

Requirements:
- Two-year college diploma in information technology or related field
- Minimum three years of network administration experience
- Industry certification such as CCNA, MCSE, or Security+
- Knowledge of VMware and virtual server technologies
