ReportingtotheManagerofInformationTechnology,thispositionisresponsibleforthe TheNetworkAdministratorprovidestechnicalexpertiseinnetworkoperations,cybersecurity,Microsoft365administration,disasterrecoveryplanning,andinfrastructureprojectswhiledeliveringexceptionalsupporttointer WhatYou’llDo Network&InfrastructureAdministration;
- MaintainandsupporttheCity'snetworkinfrastructure,includingswitches,routers,firewalls,VPNs,wirelessnetworks,andVoIPsystems.
- SupportMicrosoftWindowsServerenvironments,ActiveDirectory,AzureActiveDirectory,DNS,DHCP,andrelatedtechnologies.
- AdministerandsupportMicrosoft365andassociatedapplications.
- Monitornetworkperformanceandrecommendimprovementstoenhancereliabilityandefficiency. Cybersecurity&DisasterRecovery;
- Implementandmaintainsecurityconfigurations,policies,andcontrolstoprotectCityinformationsystems.
- Assistinthedevelopment,maintenance,andimplementationoftheCity'sCyberIncidentResponsePlananddisasterrecoverystrategies.
- Performsystembackupsanddisasterrecoverytestingtoensurebusinesscontinuity.
- Identifypotentialvulnerabilitiesandrecommendsolutionstostrengthensecurity. TechnicalSupport&ServiceDelivery;
- Providesecond-leveltechnicalsupportforhardware,software,infrastructure,andnetwork-relatedissues.
- Supportinstallations,upgrades,troubleshooting,andmaintenanceofnetworkequipment,servers,workstations,andapplications.
- Provideguidance,training,andtechnicalsupporttoCitystaff,Council,andotherstakeholders.
- Promotetheeffectiveandappropriateuseoftechnologythroughouttheorganization.



Project&TechnologyPlanning;
- Participateintechnologyplanningthroughongoingresearchandevaluationofemergingtechnologies.
- Manageassignedtechnologyprojectsandinitiativesinaccordancewithprojectmanagementprinciplesandestablishedtimelines.
- Research,recommend,andimplementinnovativesolutionstosupportoperationalrequirementsandserviceimprovements.
- Contributetoannualbudgetplanningrelatedtoinformationtechnologyinfrastructure. Documentation&ContinuousImprovement;
- Developandmaintaintechnicaldocumentation,networkdiagrams,procedures,andsystemrecords.
- Assistindevelopingpolicies,standards,andproceduresrelatedtoinformationtechnologyinfrastructure.
- SupportcontinuousevaluationandimprovementofITinfrastructureandservices.

- Two(2)yearCollegeDiplomainInformationTechnology,ComputerNetworking,ComputerSystems,orrelatedfield.
- IndustrycertificationssuchasMCSE,CCNA,VCP,A+,Network+,Security+,orequivalentcombinationofeducationandexperience.
- Minimumthree(3)yearsofexperienceinanetworkadministrationorrelatedtechnologyrole. Skills&Competencies;
- StrongknowledgeofMicrosoftWindowsServertechnologies,ActiveDirectory,AzureActiveDirectory,DNS,DHCP,MicrosoftExchange,andMicrosoftSQLServer.
- Experiencesupportingnetworkinfrastructureincludingfirewalls,switches,routers,VPNs,wirelessnetworks,andVoIPsystems.




- KnowledgeofVMwareandvirtualservertechnologies.
- Stronganalytical,troubleshooting,projectmanagement,andproblem-solvingskills.
