Taxonomy design and metadata modelling define this Information Scientist position at Miratech, supporting knowledge retrieval in Genesys Cloud AI. Enterprise search analysis is central. Miratech seeks an Information Scientist to design and improve information architecture for customer service agents, self-service users, and AI-powered solutions. You will analyze knowledge content, search behavior, metadata, and content structures. The work includes creating taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, tagging rules, and audience-specific classifications. You will also establish quality standards, lifecycle rules, review processes, and ownership guidelines with the Senior PS Consultant.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze knowledge-base structure, consistency, duplication, metadata, and searchability
- Assess 100–200 pilot articles for quality, accuracy, currency, and tagging
- Design taxonomy hierarchies, vocabularies, synonyms,



and metadata models
- Define content-structuring guidelines and search-optimization requirements
- Document recommendations for the client’s content team through proofs of concept

Requirements:
- Five-plus years in information science, taxonomy, metadata, architecture, or enterprise search
- Experience designing taxonomies and metadata models for enterprise content
- Experience analyzing search behavior and improving content findability
- Understanding of AI-powered search and knowledge retrieval
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain Government of Canada security clearance Apply information architecture, taxonomy design, and metadata modelling to improve accurate knowledge retrieval within Genesys Cloud AI.
