Program and operate CNC equipment for Westinghouse in Peterborough, Ontario, using precision tools and drawing interpretation skills onsite. Support clean energy manufacturing. As a CNC Machinist II, you will program from drawing files and packaged conversion software. You will set tools, prepare fixtures and jigs, and machine precision components meeting engineered drawings. The role reports to the Shop Supervisor and requires risk assessment compliance for each operation.

Key Responsibilities
- Program equipment using drawing files and conversion software
- Set tools and prepare fixtures and jigs
- Machine acceptable precision parts within allotted time
- Support apprentices and CNC Operators during setup
- Manage part programme files with complete backups

Requirements:
- Five to ten years of experience
- Intermediate conventional machine tool setup and operation ability
- Entry-level CNC operator ability
- Advanced knowledge of hand precision tools
- Advanced knowledge of drawing interpretation Bring CNC programming, precision machining, and drawing interpretation expertise to Westinghouse’s onsite Peterborough manufacturing facility.
