Build TD’s Global Transaction Banking platform in Toronto through hands-on Java engineering, Kubernetes deployment, and API architecture leadership. As Principal Engineer, you will deliver foundational services spanning entitlements, products, reference data, and cross-jurisdictional experiences. The role combines platform engineering, architecture, and technical product strategy across cloud-native systems. You will define end-to-end solutions connecting internal platforms, partner networks, and third-party services. Key Responsibilities:





Define and execute the GTB Foundational Services Platform vision Design RESTful and GraphQL API contracts and versioning strategies Own connectivity architecture across platforms and partner networks Deploy application infrastructure through Azure Kubernetes Services Deliver secure, resilient, scalable data products and services Requirements:

10+ years of software engineering experience 3+ years in architecture or technical leadership Expertise in platform engineering and Kubernetes deployment Solid Java, API design, and distributed systems knowledge Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native delivery Apply platform engineering, Java, Kubernetes, and API expertise to TD’s foundational transaction banking services in Toronto.
