As a Software Engineer on Tailscale’s Strategic Projects team, you will help move emerging workloads from prototype to dependable product. You will use Go, third-party APIs, networking, and LLM tooling while partnering with product-minded engineers. The team supports secure connectivity initiatives including Aperture, an identity-aware LLM gateway. Key Responsibilities:

Shape prototypes with production requirements built into development Harden software through error handling and observability Own security and review practices for agent-generated code Integrate Tailscale with reference customers and their products Close edge cases, regressions, testing, and operational gaps Requirements:
