As Technical Manager, you will direct computer engineers and designers through specifications, procurement, verification, and validation. AtkinsRéalis needs experienced leadership for nuclear power plant projects, including fundamental design and interfaces between Nuclear Steam Plant and balance of plant systems. The work spans quality, cost, schedule, safety, regulatory, and constructability requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage design from concept through preliminary and detailed phases
- Coordinate computer design for nuclear power plant fundamental design
- Guide staff toward optimal project solutions
- Approve engineering documents and technical deliverables
- Forecast resources, skills, capabilities, and work durations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer or electrical engineering
- Ten or more years supporting engineering or construction projects
- Five or more years leading engineering teams
- Skilled Engineer registration in Ontario is an asset
- Experience with CSA N286, CSA N299, CSA, and IEC standards
