Use advanced Excel and accounting expertise as a full time, on-site Accounting Clerk, Raw Materials with Teck in Trail, British Columbia.
Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will track, account for, and reconcile raw materials received at Trail Operations. The work includes verifying supplier invoices against agreements, operational records, pricing, quantities, and settlement terms. You will prepare approval documentation, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate accounting records supporting financial integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter accurate material receipt forecasts into RMMS
- Administer raw material contracts using RMMS
- Analyze and reconcile raw materials financial information
- Prepare monthly and year-to-date reports
- Generate accounting transactions in JD Edwards
Requirements:
- Business Administration diploma required
- Advanced Excel proficiency required
- Minimum two years of accounting experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of raw materials processes preferred
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Support Teck's Trail Operations with accurate invoice verification, reconciliations, RMMS administration, and raw materials accounting.
