What you will do

CenterLine (Windsor) Limited is looking for an experienced, self-motivated, reliable individual, to fill the position of Mechanical Machine Tool Builder responsible for the building and commissioning of tools and machines to blueprint specifications, utilizing work instructions and part lists. This position reports to a Mechanical Build Supervisor.

What we’re looking for

MAJOR DUTIES:

- Machine, fit, and assemble component parts and precision tooling, with a focus on quality, accuracy, and timeliness, to build special-purpose machinery, robotic cells, and factory automation projects.
- Provide support in coordinating, as directed and approved by the supervisor, the activities involved in mechanical build, bench assembly, floor assembly, and integration of robotic work cells,



ensuring that quality products are built safely, on time, and within budget.
- Set up and operate various machine tools, including manual lathes and small mills, applying knowledge of mechanical mechanisms, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures to support the assembly team.
- Understanding of part development and its application to MIG and resistance spot welding processes.
- Ability to lead and manage projects ranging from small to large in scope and from medium to high in complexity.
