Our Bus Drivers are an essential part of Clearview Public Schools, and we value the important role they play in our schools and communities. In addition to safely transporting nearly half of our students, our drivers help create a welcoming and caring start and end to each student’s school day.
We are currently looking for individuals to join our dedicated team as spare school bus drivers in communities throughout Clearview Public Schools.
This flexible, part-time opportunity may be a excellent fit for stay-at-home parents, retirees, semi-retired individuals, or anyone looking for meaningful work that can fit around other commitments. Spare drivers provide coverage when regular drivers are unavailable as well as drive for field trips and sports teams,
making this a great way to stay connected to your community while supporting local students and families.
No previous school bus driving experience is required. Clearview will provide paid “S” Endorsement Training and Class 2S training in October and November for successful candidates. Becoming a spare driver is also a great way to develop the certifications, skills, and experience needed to move into a regular bus route when opportunities become available.
If you enjoy working with children, have a strong commitment to safety, and are looking for flexible and rewarding work in your community, we would love to hear from you.
This competition will remain open until October 22, 2026.
We appreciate all applications; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
