Gulf Coast Materials is a small, locally owned concrete supplier serving the Salt Spring Island area. The job would be operating a single concrete truck with no trailers, focusing on short, local deliveries—you’re home every day and never hauling long distances.
What you’ll do:
- Safely operate the concrete mixer (no trailers)
- Complete short, local concrete deliveries around the island
- Load, deliver, and place concrete at job sites
- Provide friendly, skilled service to local contractors and homeowners
- Perform basic daily vehicle checks and keep the truck clean
- Light duties around the yard
- Basic truck maintenance/small repairs
What we’re looking for:
- Valid Class 3 license with air brake endorsement
- Safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working independently
- Experience driving concrete trucks is an asset, but we’re happy to train the right person
