This co-op position within MNP's Assurance & Accounting team is ideal for entry-level candidates aspiring to enhance their financial expertise. You will support tax returns, bookkeeping, and audits while collaborating closely with client engagement teams. Key Responsibilities:
• Complete personal and corporate tax returns accurately
• Assist with audit and tax engagements for diverse clients
• Prepare government remittance and payroll transactions
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts thoroughly
• Investigate discrepancies and communicate resolutions with management
Requirements:
• Working towards accounting degree or certificate
• Entry-level to 2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of preparing T4s and T5s preferred
• Basic understanding of accounting principles beneficial
• Experience with accounting software is an asset
