The Lazaridis School seeks an Assistant Professor in Accounting, beginning July 1, 2027, subject to budget approval. The position welcomes all accounting areas and supports undergraduate and graduate teaching across BBA, Graduate Diploma in Accounting, MBA, and PhD programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop an independent and robust research program
- Publish high quality peer reviewed research
- Teach undergraduate and graduate accounting courses
- Train and mentor graduate and undergraduate students
- Contribute to service and teaching teams

Requirements:

- Ph.D. in Accounting or related field
- Ph.D. completion within one year for near graduates
- Capacity for scholarly outputs and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to communicate research relevance to business audiences
- Canadian CPA preferred; skilled designation considered an asset
