Operate dewatering pumps and heavy equipment at BW Gold’s Blackwater Mine site in central British Columbia on a two weeks on, two weeks off rotation.

Reporting to the Supervisor - Mining, the Equipment Operator - Dewatering supports open pit hard rock mining operations. You will install, operate, maintain, monitor, and relocate dewatering systems while assisting with pit services. The work includes pumps, pipelines, sumps, drainage, excavation, grading, and equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain diesel, electric, and submersible pumps
- Install and monitor pit sumps, pipelines, and infrastructure
- Diagnose dewatering issues and coordinate system repairs
- Monitor water levels and adjust drainage operations
- Train operators and oversee junior team members

Requirements:

- One to three years’ open pit dewatering experience
- Knowledge of layflat hoses, poly pipe, HDPE, and couplings
- Experience operating excavators, dozers, or loaders
- Ability to work twelve-hour shifts in all weather
- Willingness to work remotely on a two weeks on, two weeks off schedule
